Kade Janes was born and raised in Cedar City Ut and is the oldest of 5. Being the oldest and the smallest boy in the family meant that there was always someone to play ball with that was as good or better. In high school, friends, football, basketball, baseball, hunting, and school (in that order) was how Kade spent his time.
After serving a two year mission for his church in Southern Mexico Kade returned home and earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University. While in school he spent three years working at a residential treatment facility as staff and his final year was spent as the gang prevention specialist for the local school district.
Returning home for what was supposed to be a couple months and then heading to graduate school in Arizona turned into two and a half years where he continued to work as a school counselor and basketball coach. After a normal basketball practice he was asked an abnormal question from one of the parents about his availability. The parent then offered his daughter as a possible date which then turned into marriage and five really great kids.
Kade and his wife Maddie moved to Arizona for eleven years as he taught Seminary and Institute. During that time he earned a Masters Degree in Education and then became the Assistant Director of a large charter school. Once the school was open, full and had a waiting list he and his family moved back to Utah where he started a consulting practice.
Today, Kade and his family are happy to be back in Southern Utah where they can spend significant time in the mountains and with family.
