Brittney grew up in Anaheim, California with her mom, dad, and half brother. After witnessing the dysfunction of her own family as a child, she quickly realized that she did not want to be a part of that and did almost the exact opposite. She became a mental health therapist to help people like her own family that struggles with mental illness and addictions. She got her Bachelors degree in Psychology at Concordia University Irvine and then went on to get her Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling at Hope International University. She has worked in residential and outpatient services in client’s homes and schools. She has experience working with children ages 5-18 who struggle with things such as: depression, anxiety, severe trauma, abuse, human trafficking, drug use, attachment, social cues, and more.
Brittney and her fiancé Joe moved to Cedar City, UT in order to enjoy a slower paced lifestyle full of beautiful nature, camping, fishing, and all the outdoorsy activities you can think of. Brittney also enjoys playing softball, golfing, traveling the world, hanging out with friends, and playing with her 3 year old yellow lab, Nova.
